Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: August 26, 2026
Ravvi generates images and videos from the prompts, briefs, and media you submit. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not create with the service, how we enforce these rules, how to report a violation, and how we moderate content. It forms part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. If you do not agree with this AUP, do not use the service.
This AUP applies to everything you submit (prompts, briefs, edit instructions, uploaded images and video) and to everything the service produces for you, including how you distribute or publish those outputs.
Content standards and prohibited categories
You may not use Ravvi to generate, upload, request, store, or distribute any of the following.
1. Pornography and NSFW content
Sexually explicit or pornographic imagery, nudity, sexualized depictions of the human body, fetish content, and any other material not safe for work. This includes prompts and uploads intended to produce such material, and depicting real people in sexualized contexts.
2. Violence and gore
Graphic violence, gore, mutilation, torture, self-harm or suicide, animal cruelty, realistic depictions of injury or death, and content that glorifies, promotes, or incites violence against any person or group. It also covers content that promotes or facilitates terrorism, violent extremism, mass violence, or the creation of weapons.
3. Hate speech
Content that attacks, demeans, dehumanizes, harasses, or promotes discrimination against a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, immigration status, religion, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or serious disease. This includes hate symbols, hateful slogans and slurs, and content that incites genocide or ethnic hatred.
4. Child-unsafe content (CSAM)
Child sexual abuse material and any sexual, suggestive, or exploitative content involving a minor, whether real, stylized, or fully synthetic. This also covers sexualizing an adult depicted or described as a minor, and any attempt to make a minor's likeness sexual. This is a zero-tolerance category: accounts are terminated immediately and, where the law requires it, reported to the competent authorities and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the equivalent body in your jurisdiction.
5. Deepfakes and impersonation of real people
Realistic synthetic depictions of an identifiable real person — including public figures, celebrities, politicians, and private individuals — created without that person's consent. This covers face swaps, voice or likeness cloning, synthetic endorsements or testimonials, fabricated statements or events presented as real, non-consensual intimate imagery, and content designed to impersonate a real person, brand, or organization or to mislead viewers about who is speaking. Depicting a real person in advertising requires their documented permission, and you must be able to produce it on request.
6. Copyright and trademark infringement
Content that reproduces or derives from works, characters, logos, packaging, trade dress, or brand assets you do not own or have no license to use, and content that passes off your goods or services as someone else's. You must hold the rights to every product photo, logo, font, and reference image you upload. Reproducing a third-party brand's assets in your own advertising without permission is prohibited.
Also prohibited
- Fraud, scams, phishing, fake stores, and deceptive advertising, including false health, financial, or earnings claims, fake before-and-after results, invented reviews or awards, and counterfeit goods.
- Content promoting illegal goods and services, including illicit drugs, weapons and weapon modifications, human trafficking, and stolen data or credentials.
- Content targeting or harassing a specific private individual, including doxxing and unauthorized disclosure of personal information.
- Malware, spam, and content that facilitates unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
- Attempts to defeat these rules: jailbreaks, obfuscated or coded prompts, splitting a prohibited request across steps, or using edits and regenerations to move an allowed output toward prohibited material.
Restricted, subject to review
Some material is not banned outright but is reviewed case by case and may be refused: age-restricted products (alcohol, tobacco and vaping, gambling); regulated claims (health, medical, financial, legal, supplements); politically sensitive or election-related content; and violence in a legitimate creative, journalistic, or educational context. In every case you remain responsible for complying with the advertising rules of the platforms you publish to and the law of every market you advertise in.
Content moderation
We moderate in layers rather than relying on any single control.
Automated screening before generation. Every free-text prompt you submit — the campaign brief and every edit instruction — is screened against the content policies of our merchant-of-record partner's content-safety API before it reaches any generation model. A block verdict refuses the request; a review verdict (flagged but not denied) is also refused by default. Refusals are surfaced in the product as a content-policy message and no credits are charged for a refused prompt. Uploaded images and video are not screened by this text API; they are covered by the model providers' own safety filters, by this AUP, and by the reporting and human-review process below.
Model-provider safety filters. The third-party image and video models that power Ravvi apply their own safety systems and may independently refuse or block a generation. Such a refusal is not an error and does not entitle you to a different result.
Human review. Reports we receive, accounts flagged by repeated automated refusals, and anything escalated by our systems are reviewed by our team. Reviewers may examine the prompts, uploads, and outputs associated with the account for the purposes of enforcing this AUP. Reports are reviewed independently and objectively, and the reporter's identity is protected.
Severity tiers. Violations are triaged by severity:
| Tier | Examples | Handling |
|---|---|---|
| L4 — Critical | CSAM, terrorism and mass violence, non-consensual intimate deepfakes | Automatic block, immediate human confirmation, account termination, referral to authorities where required by law |
| L3 — High | Hate speech, sexual content, fraud, malicious impersonation | Automatic block or flag, priority review, suspension |
| L2 — Medium | Infringing brand assets, deceptive claims, gratuitous violence | Human review, content removal, feature restriction |
| L1 — Low | Borderline restricted categories, first-time minor issues | Review on report, warning and guidance |
We may retain records of violations, including the offending prompt or output, for as long as needed to enforce this AUP, meet legal obligations, and prevent repeat abuse. See our Privacy Policy for how that information is handled.
Enforcement actions
Depending on the severity, frequency, and intent of a violation, we may take any of the following actions, with or without prior notice:
| Action | When it applies |
|---|---|
| Warning | First-time minor violations |
| Content removal | Confirmed medium or low violations |
| Feature restriction | Repeat minor violations, or a single medium violation |
| Account suspension | High-severity violations, or accumulated breaches |
| Permanent ban | Critical violations, or repeated high-severity violations |
| Referral to authorities | Conduct that appears criminal, reported to law enforcement and, for child-safety material, to NCMEC or the equivalent body |
Enforcement does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits or of the remainder of a subscription period, except where applicable law requires one; see our Refund Policy. We may also withhold or reverse outputs created in violation of this AUP.
Appeals. If you believe an enforcement action was a mistake, write to hello@ravvi.ai from the email address on the account within 30 days, describing what happened. A team member who was not involved in the original decision will review it and respond. Zero-tolerance terminations under the child-safety category are not appealable.
Reporting a violation
If you see content or behavior on Ravvi that breaks this policy — including content generated by Ravvi that you encounter elsewhere — report it to us.
How to report: email hello@ravvi.ai with the subject line AUP report, or use the support channel in the product. This mailbox is monitored on business days.
What to include: a link to the content or the account, or the file itself; what you believe was violated; when you saw it; and how we can reach you. If you are reporting infringement of your own copyright or trademark, include the takedown details listed in the Terms of Service. If you are reporting a depiction of yourself created without your consent, say so — we treat non-consensual likeness reports as high priority.
What happens next: we acknowledge reports within 3 business days and act on confirmed violations under the enforcement table above. Critical reports — child safety, terrorism, non-consensual intimate imagery, credible threats of violence — are escalated immediately and reviewed ahead of the queue. We may not be able to tell you the outcome of an action taken against another user's account.
Reporter identity is protected. Reports made in bad faith — to harass a competitor, or knowingly false — are recorded and may themselves result in enforcement against the reporting account.
Urgent child-safety reports: email hello@ravvi.ai with URGENT — CHILD SAFETY in the subject line. Do not attach the material itself; send links or identifiers only.
Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP as the service, the law, or the risk landscape changes. If we make material changes we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
